CLICK ON PHOTOS TO SEE FULL SIZE Southeast European Battle Axe is based on the late 16th century style of battle axe, as one would find in the grip of a knight, sharp, powerful and designed to penetrate armor deeply as well as chop and slice the less armored on the field. This is not an axe for tree felling, this is a battle axe designed by our forefathers to destroy humans. The haft is hickory with steel studs, fire hardened and oil cured. The head is made of surgical steel and pinned to the haft with brass hardware.
